Definition

This refers to the movement of people from one region to another in search of better economic opportunities such as jobs and higher wages.

Analogy

Imagine you're playing a game with limited resources in your current location but there's another location with abundant resources. Naturally, you would move your game character there for better chances at winning. That's similar to economic migration - moving for better opportunities.
