Clan Structure
Definition
A clan structure is an organizational system based on extended family ties where members claim descent from a common ancestor.
Analogy
Consider your family tree. Your immediate family might be like your siblings; you share the same parents. But your cousins, who share a common grandparent with you, represent a larger clan structure.
