A dependent category refers to a variable or factor that is influenced by other variables in the study. Its value depends on or changes based on these factors.
Imagine a puppet whose movements are controlled by someone else pulling its strings. The puppet represents the dependent category, as it relies on external forces to determine its actions.
Independent Category: An independent category is the opposite of a dependent category. It stands alone and is not influenced by any other variables.
Response Variable: A response variable measures the outcome or result being studied and is typically affected by one or more explanatory variables.
Continuous Variable: A continuous variable can take any numerical value within a certain range, allowing for infinite possibilities between two points.
