Definition
A data set refers to any collection of observations, measurements, or information gathered for analysis.
Analogy
Think of your favorite playlist on Spotify. Each song represents an individual piece of data. When you put all those songs together in one playlist, it becomes your data set - ready for analysis!

Variables: These are characteristics or attributes that can take on different values and are measured or observed in a data set.
Categorical Data: This type of data consists of categories or groups, such as gender or favorite color.
Numerical Data: This type of data consists of numbers and can be further classified as either discrete (countable) or continuous (measurable).
