Gases de efecto invernadero

Definition

Greenhouse gases are gases that trap heat in the Earth's atmosphere and contribute to global warming. Examples include carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O).

Analogy

Picture greenhouse gases as a cozy blanket wrapped around the Earth. Just like a blanket traps heat and keeps you warm, these gases trap heat in the atmosphere, leading to global warming.
