Definition

Communication choices refer to decisions made regarding how individuals express themselves verbally or nonverbally when interacting with others. These choices include selecting appropriate language styles (formal or informal), tone of voice, body language, and other communication methods.

Analogy

Communication choices can be compared to choosing the right outfit for different occasions. Just as you would dress differently for a job interview versus a casual hangout with friends, making appropriate communication choices involves adapting your style to fit the context and audience.
