Definition

The theory of multiple intelligences, proposed by Howard Gardner, suggests that there are different types of intelligence beyond the traditional notion of IQ. It argues that individuals possess various distinct intelligences, such as linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic.
