Sound waves are vibrations or disturbances traveling through a medium (such as air or water) that can be detected by our ears. These waves carry information about pitch, volume, and tone.
Frequency refers to the number of complete cycles of a wave that occur per second and determines our perception of pitch.
Amplitude refers to the height or intensity of a sound wave and affects our perception of volume.
Pitch is how high or low we perceive a sound to be based on its frequency.
