Definition

This is a mental health disorder marked by severe social anxiety, thought disorder, paranoid ideation, derealization, transient psychosis, and often unconventional beliefs.

Analogy

Imagine you're at a party where everyone else seems to be speaking a language you don't understand. You feel anxious because you can't connect with them or understand their conversations. Sometimes, you even think they're talking about you or plotting against you. That's what it might feel like for someone with Schizotypal Personality Disorder.
