Definition

In psychology, realism refers to an orientation towards facts and reality, accepting them without distortion by personal feelings or prejudices.

Realism is like wearing clear glasses. It allows us to see things as they truly are without any color filters altering our perception.

Perception: The process by which we interpret sensory information, allowing us to recognize meaningful objects and events.

Cognitive Bias: A systematic error in thinking that affects the decisions and judgments that people make.

Objectivity: Treating facts without influence from personal feelings or prejudices.
