In statistics, range refers to the difference between the highest and lowest scores in a data set.
Think of range like the distance between two cities. If you have City A and City B, the range would be how far apart they are from each other. Similarly, in a data set, if you have a high score (City A) and a low score (City B), the range is how much they differ.
Standard Deviation: This is a measure that quantifies the amount of variation or dispersion in a set of values.
Mean: This is simply the average value of all numbers in a given data set.
Median: This is the middle number when all numbers in a dataset are arranged from smallest to largest.
