Positive Correlation occurs when both variables increase together or decrease together; as one variable increases, so does the other.
Think of it like going up an escalator. As you move upward (increase), so does the person standing next to you. You're both moving in the same direction at the same time - that's positive correlation.
Negative Correlation: This is when one variable increases as the other decreases, and vice versa.
Causal Relationship: A relationship where one event (the cause) makes another event happen (the effect).
Dependent Variable: The variable being tested and measured in a scientific experiment.
