In psychology, openness refers to one of the five personality traits in the Big Five model. It represents a person's willingness to experience new things, their level of creativity, and their appreciation for art and beauty.
Think of openness like a tourist on vacation. The more open you are, the more likely you are to try new foods, visit different attractions, and immerse yourself in a foreign culture.
Personality Traits: These are characteristic patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that make up an individual's personality.
Extraversion: This is another trait from the Big Five model. It refers to how outgoing or sociable someone is.
Neuroticism: Also part of the Big Five model. This trait measures emotional instability or anxiety levels.
