Definition

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental disorder characterized by recurring unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors (compulsions). These obsessions create anxiety in individuals, leading them to engage in compulsive behaviors as an attempt to reduce anxiety.
