Motor Cortex
Definition
The motor cortex is part of the cerebral cortex involved in planning, control, and execution of voluntary movements.
Analogy
Consider your motor cortex like a puppeteer controlling marionettes. It sends out signals (like pulling on strings) to different parts of your body telling them when to move and how much force to use.
