Homosexuality is characterized by emotional, romantic, or sexual attraction exclusively or predominantly towards people of one's own sex.
Imagine two same-sided pieces from a puzzle; even though they're identical (same-sex), they can still fit together perfectly. That's how homosexual relationships work - two individuals from the same gender can form an emotional and physical bond just as any other couple would do.
Gay: Gay is a term often used to describe a man who is attracted to men, but it can also be used for women attracted to women.
Lesbian: Lesbian is a term used to describe a woman who is attracted to other women.
Transgender: Transgender is an umbrella term for people whose gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth.
