Definition

Dysfunctional behaviors are actions that are harmful or disruptive to oneself or others. They often stem from psychological issues or disorders.

Analogy

Imagine driving a car with faulty brakes. No matter how well you steer or accelerate, if your brakes aren't working properly, it can lead to accidents (dysfunction). Similarly, dysfunctional behaviors can cause problems in life despite other aspects going well.
