Biochemical influences refer to how various chemical substances such as hormones and neurotransmitters affect our behavior, mood, and overall mental health.

Analogy

Imagine your body is like a car engine. Just like how different fluids (oil, coolant) are needed for smooth operation of an engine; biochemicals like hormones & neurotransmitters are required for proper functioning of our body & mind.
