A bimodal distribution occurs when two different values appear most frequently (modes) in the data set.
Imagine you're a teacher grading tests. Most of your students either scored around 70 or 90, with fewer scores in between. This would create a bimodal distribution - two peaks at 70 and 90.
Unimodal Distribution: A unimodal distribution has only one value that appears most frequently.
Multimodal Distribution: A multimodal distribution has more than two values that appear most frequently.
Histogram: A histogram is a graphical representation of the distribution of a dataset. It's an estimate of the probability distribution of a continuous variable.
