Definition

Asperger's Syndrome is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. Unlike Autism Spectrum Disorder, individuals with Asperger's Syndrome typically have normal language development and average to above-average intelligence.
