Definition

Acoustic signals refer to sound waves or auditory information that is received through our ears. They can be verbal (speech) or non-verbal (environmental sounds).

Analogy

Think of acoustic signals like music playing on your headphones. You can hear every instrument clearly - each note and rhythm comes together to create an overall experience just like how acoustic signals combine to form our auditory perception.
