Trichromatic Theory of Color Vision

Definition

The Trichromatic Theory of Color Vision explains how humans perceive color through the presence of three types of cones in the retina that are sensitive to different wavelengths of light. These cones allow us to see a wide range of colors by combining signals from red, green, and blue.
