Definition

The brain is divided into different regions responsible for various functions. These parts include structures such as the frontal lobe, temporal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, cerebellum, and brainstem.

Frontal lobe: Located at the front of the brain, it is involved in executive functions such as decision-making, problem-solving, planning, personality expression.

Temporal lobe: Situated on each side of the brain above the ears; it plays key roles in auditory processing (sound perception), language comprehension, memory formation.

Brainstem:

Connects the spinal cord with higher regions of the brain; it controls basic vital functions like breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure.
