Uniform Electric Field

Definition

A uniform electric field is one where the magnitude and direction remain constant throughout space. In this type of field, equipotential lines are parallel and equally spaced apart.

Analogy

Imagine a calm river flowing in a straight line without any obstacles. The water current is constant and has the same speed and direction at every point, just like a uniform electric field.
