Newton's Laws of Motion

Definition

Newton's Laws of Motion are three fundamental principles that describe the relationship between the motion of an object and the forces acting upon it.

Analogy

Think of Newton's Laws as a set of rules for driving a car. Just like you need to follow certain rules (like stopping at red lights) to drive safely and smoothly, objects in motion follow these laws to behave predictably.

Related terms
