Elastic Force

Definition

The force exerted by a stretched or compressed elastic material, such as a spring, that tries to restore the material to its original shape.

Analogy

Imagine pulling on a rubber band. The more you stretch it, the stronger the force pulling it back becomes. It's like a tug-of-war between you and the rubber band.
