Magnetic monopoles

Definition

Magnetic monopoles are hypothetical particles or objects that possess only a single magnetic pole, either north or south, similar to how electric charges can exist as positive or negative. Unlike magnets we commonly encounter, which always have both north and south poles, magnetic monopoles would exist as isolated entities with just one pole.
