Definition

The path followed by an object in motion under the influence of gravity. It is determined by the initial velocity and launch angle.

Analogy

Imagine throwing a ball on a playground. The trajectory of the ball is like the path it takes from your hand to where it lands, considering factors like how hard you throw it and at what angle.
