Definition
Series circuits are circuits where all components are connected one after another along a single path. In series circuits, the same current flows through each component, and adding resistors increases total resistance.

Voltage Divider Rule: The voltage divider rule states that when resistors are connected in series, their voltages divide proportionally based on their resistance values.
Ohm's Law: Ohm's Law states that for any conductor at constant temperature, the current passing through it is directly proportional to the voltage applied across it and inversely proportional to its resistance.
Total Resistance: Total resistance refers to the combined resistance of all components connected in series within a circuit.
