Gravitational Force

Definition

Gravitational force is the attractive force between two objects with mass. It depends on the masses of the objects and the distance between them.

Analogy

Think of gravitational force as a magnet pulling objects together. Just like how magnets attract metal objects, gravity pulls everything towards each other because of their mass.

Related terms

Weight: The measure of the gravitational force acting on an object's mass.
