Second Triumvirate

Definition

The Second Triumvirate was a political alliance formed by three powerful Roman leaders - Octavian (Augustus), Mark Antony, and Lepidus - after the assassination of Julius Caesar. They shared power but eventually turned against each other.

Analogy

Think of the Second Triumvirate as a group project gone wrong. Initially, they joined forces to maintain stability in Rome just like classmates team up for an assignment. However, their collaboration eventually fell apart due to conflicting interests, much like group projects can become chaotic when everyone wants different things.
