Consider policy decisions like choosing your team's strategy in a basketball game. The coach (government) decides the best approach (policy) to win the game (achieve societal goals).
Public Policy: A system of laws, regulatory measures, courses of action, and funding priorities concerning a given topic promulgated by a governmental entity or its representatives.
Legislation: Laws enacted by a legislative body at any level of government.
Executive Orders: Directives issued by the President of the United States that manage operations of the federal government.
