Pluralist Theory

Definition

The pluralist theory posits that political power is distributed among many groups, so no single entity can dominate or monopolize power.

Analogy

Imagine if your school cafeteria had only one food option every day - not everyone would be happy! But if there are multiple options (pizza, salad bar, sandwiches), more students' preferences are met. That’s how pluralist theory works in politics – multiple groups ensure diverse interests are represented.
