Definition
Individuals who share similar age or life stage characteristics which can influence behavior or social norms.
Analogy
Peers are like mirrors in a funhouse; they reflect different aspects of ourselves back at us - sometimes distorted, sometimes accurate - helping shape our self-perception and behavior.
