A march is a form of protest where individuals walk along set routes to specific destinations in order to draw attention towards certain issues they believe need change.
Imagine going on a field trip with your class; you all follow the same route and end up at the same destination together. That’s what happens during marches but instead of sightseeing; people are raising awareness about important issues.
Parade: A parade is usually any planned procession organized along a set route which often includes marching bands and floats. Unlike marches though parades are typically celebratory rather than politically motivated.
Picketing: Picketing involves individuals standing outside businesses or locations holding signs expressing their grievances. It's like standing outside your school with a sign that says "More Art Classes!"
Sit-in: A sit-in is a form of protest where individuals occupy an area and refuse to leave until their demands are met. Imagine refusing to leave the cafeteria until they bring back pizza Fridays.
