The Electromagnetic Spectrum

Definition

The electromagnetic spectrum is the range of all possible frequencies of electromagnetic radiation, from very low energy radio waves to high-energy gamma rays.

These are at the low-energy end of the electromagnetic spectrum and are used for communication such as television and radio broadcasting.

A type of wave in between radio waves and infrared on the electromagnetic spectrum, commonly used in microwave ovens and radar technology.
