A process or reaction whose rate or outcome is influenced by changes in temperature.
Think of baking cookies. The temperature of your oven will determine how quickly the cookies bake and how they turn out. If the oven is too hot, they might burn; if it's not hot enough, they may not cook properly. This is similar to chemical reactions that are temperature dependent - the speed and result of the reaction can change based on the temperature.
Heat of Reaction: The amount of heat energy absorbed or released during a chemical reaction.
Activation Energy: The minimum amount of energy required for a chemical reaction to occur.
Endothermic Reaction: A type of chemical reaction where heat energy is absorbed from surroundings.
