Steel

Definition

Steel is an alloy made primarily from iron and carbon, often along with other elements like manganese or nickel to enhance certain properties like strength or resistance to rust.

Analogy

Think of steel as a chocolate chip cookie. The dough represents iron, the main ingredient. The chocolate chips are like carbon, a small but crucial component that gives the cookie (or in this case, steel) its unique properties. Sometimes you add nuts or raisins (other elements) to enhance the flavor (properties).
