Ratio
Definition
Ratio refers to the quantitative relationship between two or more quantities. It compares the sizes or amounts of different values and can be expressed in various ways, such as fractions, decimals, or percentages.
Analogy
Think of a ratio as a recipe for making a cake. It specifies how much flour to use compared to sugar, eggs, and other ingredients. Ratios help us understand the proportions and relative amounts of different components.
