An endothermic process absorbs heat from its surroundings during its occurrence. It feels cold because it's taking in heat energy.
Think about putting an ice pack on your arm after getting injured. Your skin gets colder because heat from your body is being absorbed by the ice pack. That's an endothermic process!
Exothermic Process: This is the opposite of an endothermic process, where heat is released into the surroundings.
Heat of Reaction: The change in enthalpy during a chemical reaction.
Activation Energy: The minimum amount of energy required to start a chemical reaction.
