The maximum value is the highest point that a function reaches within a given interval.
Imagine you are at a party and there is a contest to see who can jump the highest. The person who jumps the highest wins and their jump represents the maximum value.
Minimum Value: The minimum value is the lowest point that a function reaches within a given interval.
Local Extrema: Local extrema are points on a graph where the function reaches either a maximum or minimum value, but only within a small neighborhood of that point.
Absolute Extrema: Absolute extrema are the overall highest and lowest points on an entire graph or over an entire interval.
