Definition

The limit of a function represents the value that the function approaches as the input (x) gets arbitrarily close to a certain value. It does not necessarily equal the actual output at that value.

Limit point: A point where a function approaches from both sides but may not have an actual defined value at that point.

One-sided limit: A type of limit where we only consider approaching from one side (either left or right).

Indeterminate form: A situation in which we cannot determine the value of a limit just by evaluating the function at that point. Examples include 0/0 and ∞/∞.
