Definition

When referring to shapes or regions in mathematics, being bounded by lines means that they are enclosed within specific boundaries determined by straight lines.

Analogy

Picture yourself inside a fenced-in soccer field. The boundaries of the field, formed by the surrounding fence, enclose and limit your movement within a defined area.
