Definition

In Shintoism, kami refers to divine spirits or deities that are worshipped. They can be found in natural elements like mountains, rivers, trees, as well as ancestral spirits.

Analogy

Think of kami as invisible superheroes who protect and bless different aspects of our lives. Just like how we may not see them directly but can feel their presence through their actions.
