Time

Definition

In art, time can refer to both actual duration (how long it takes for something to happen) as well as implied duration (the illusion of time passing within a static artwork).

Analogy

Imagine a series of photographs capturing different moments of a person jumping. Each photo freezes a specific moment, but when viewed in sequence, they create the illusion of movement and the passage of time.
