Definition

The Medial Longitudinal Fasciculus (MLF) is a bundle of nerve fibers that runs up and down the brainstem and is involved in coordinating eye movements and head positions. It facilitates the communication between the cranial nerves that control eye movement and the muscles that move the eyes and neck.
