Interosseous membrane

Definition

An interosseous membrane is a fibrous sheet that connects the bones of the forearm (radius and ulna) or the bones of the leg (tibia and fibula), providing stability while allowing for movement. It serves as an attachment point for muscles and helps transmit forces across the joint.
