Deciduous teeth, also known as baby or milk teeth, are the first set of teeth in the growth development of humans and other mammals, which are eventually replaced by permanent teeth. These 20 primary teeth are critical for initial chewing, speaking, and holding space in the jaws for future adult teeth.
