Choroid plexus

Definition

The choroid plexus is a network of cells and blood vessels located in the ventricles of the brain that produces cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). This fluid plays a crucial role in protecting the brain and spinal cord by providing cushioning and maintaining a stable environment.
