Anterior interventricular sulcus

Definition

The anterior interventricular sulcus is a groove on the surface of the heart that marks the boundary between the left and right ventricles on the anterior aspect of the heart. It also contains blood vessels, such as parts of the left coronary artery and some small veins, that supply blood to the heart muscle.
